I am alive...May review

Ok, sorry for the lack of updates...its been an insanely rectic last few weeks. I wont bore you with the details, but as of 6am this morning, i am officially unemployed...tyty....yup, my "dream" job fell through, but i decieded to move anyway, which means i'm officially an online poker player now...well, an online investor if anyone asks LOL. I'm leaving for the 12 hour drive friday morning, which means poker in may has come to a close.

All in all it was a good month (especially after posting a $325 win today!!!!!). I've pretty much given up on pokerstars by the way, so i'm not even going to boe you with the details of how i did in may other then the grand total. Pokerstars +$40...whoooooo hooooo. It was a gross month. the only reason i'm up for the month is becuz of the stars freerolls (which i will no longer be able to play since this is the 1st month in well over a year i didn't make gold status). I made a semi deep run in the 5000 fpp tourny lastweekend only to get bounce inside the top 1000 when my 99 couldn't hold agaisnt 77 all in pre flop...this was for a monster stack, and i wouldve won some serious cash...instead, i won $225. F you stars..good ridence for a while...full tilt, here i come forever...

The above graph is my fulltilt month. I've actually moved up in limits a bit as i'm now playing 7 50nl tables and 2 100nl tables all at once. Starting next month, i'm gonna up it to 6 50nl and 3 100 nl...and continue moving up tables like this. I played 5 donkaments in may...OMG 5!!!!! what happened to me!!! and bascially broke even with a -3 roi...who cares. I played 33k of 50 nl and won $395 (a pretty bad winrate) and played 3k hands of 100nl and won $556. I also mixed in some heads up, and a druken session of 200nl for a grand total of $899 in cash games. Factor in the approx. $330 of rakeback and the grand total for the month is approx. +$1257!! Add the nubs from stars and it was a $1300 month!! Which keeps me WELL on pace for a 10k year.

Ok, thats it for now, i'll try to make a post in the next couple of days, but unfortunately, i probably wont be playing any poker for at least a week...OMG what am i going to do!!!

Fun afternoon...not so much

Had a lot of fun playing this afternoon...up until about hand 621...thats a nice looking drop isn't it?? The funny thing is, around hnad 550 or so, i was about to text someone telling them fulltilt is giving some back after WHORING me yesterday....this down slope was courtesy of my AA vs 66..all in pre flop for $100 pot....yes 66 for 50 bucks...then he started ripping me after the hand... about 10 hands later, utg raises, i call with AK on button...flop comes AK7 rainbow...long story short...he had the fucking Aces!! thanks for that one fulltilt...then about 50 hands later, this guy made one of the sickest/worst calls ive ever seen in my life to take another stack from me...i raised pre flop...raised him on the flop...raised him on the turn...and pushed all in over his bet on the river...he called with top pair shitty kicker on a 3 striaght and flushy board LOL...at this point i IMMEDIATELY shut down fulltilt!! lol

Oh well...i'm off to a pretty good start for the month, so i'm not complaining...but ive cooled down a bit the past couple days...so lets try to reactivate my boomswitch baby!!

GOAL GOAL GOAL

Goals for May: WIN MONEY!!! Well, aside from the obvious, i just want to play good poker. I feel like if i put in a good volume, and play solid poker and NOT run like shit, that the potential for a really big month is there for the taking. I'm not even asking to run like God, just let the best hand hold when it should. Unfortunately, this is going to be a busy month for me, and i probably wont be able to put in a crazy # of hands. The only real 2 goals i'm setting are 1) $1500 in profit...this is NOT too much to ask seeing as i won half of that last month and ran like death for the frist 2 weeks....AND after 2 days in may, i'm up a decent amount (JINK!!!) and 2) Snag a top 3 in a multi table...i'm actually gonna playa few more this month, so a nice score would be nice (i figure 4 months of running bad in them means im overdue!!!). Those are the only goals i'm setting.

Quickly, i'm making the big move at the end of the month to halfway across the country to move in with the g/f...so farewell poker LOL...kind of...the months of playing 50k hands i think are over...so thats also why i'm hoping May can be a big month...i'll keep you all posted on the move becuz i know your dying to here more about it lol

Pokerstars month....BLAH Review B

This is how pokerstars went for the month...as you can see, i got off to a really nice start lol...oh well...grinded my way back to close to even playing cash games. Bottom line, i ended up down $550 on stars this month. For starters, i was actually down about $100 more then this graph shows in cash games...somehow an entire session got deleted from pokertracker, so it didnt register, but i was stuck about $100. Lost probably close to $300 playing omaha8 (literally the worst run ive ever had in that game...ive never held the nuts so many times in my life on the flop and turn, only to have someone spike their gin card EVERYTIME on the river...sick). I only played 7 tournaments onstars the enitre month (sigh...i miss multi tables) and lost around $60. Sng's i only play 16 this month, and ended up down $15. I guess thats about it...i actually cashed in a few freerolls on starts in april, so give or take, that was the breakdown fore the month.

Grand total for both sites...$770 for April...(begin applause)...Seeing as i started the month down $1000...its feels pretty nice to turn a profit of almost $800!!

I need to watch lost here b4 i goto work, so i wont post my goals for may until tomorrow....but to be quite honest, im glad april is over...it was a very swingy month, and i'm hoping for a little more consistency in may...

A Tale of 2 sites: review A Fulltilt

Well its that time of the month again....time for a wrap up. As most of you know, i started the month on a DISGUSTING stretch finding myself down 1k..."things change mox" and here are the totals .

The above graph is my month on fulltilt just cash games. All in all, i was up $1230 for the month on fulltilt (this number includes $300 from rakeback...VERY nice...and $150 won playing some donkaments). Whatever is left probably came from some omaha8 i played and i cashed in a couple freerolls during the month. As you can see, once my doomswitch was turned off, i started to really put up some nice results, but that start to the month was so gross, i just oculdn't post another SICK month, but i'll definately take $1200 considering after 18k hands, i was down nearly $500!!

I'm slow when it comes to computers and cant figure out how to post another graph in this blog, so i'll start a new one for my stars

Lol donkaments

So i decieded to make this afternoon a donkament day...flamed in all my stars tournies (standard) but fulltilt was a bit different. Played in a $14 satalite for the $50 330 toruny and won the satalite, so i was free rollin' for the $50...bottom line, ended up coming in 14th for $150...on the whole i'm happy, but the hand i went out with was a doozy...im in the BB with 10bb's sitting in 11/14...folded to the SB who just shoves...i wake up with AK (YES!!!) i snap call...he turns over 106 offsuit....10 on the river gg murph....yes, i threw up on my laptop when this happened. If i win this pot, i'm sitting pretty nice, and looking at making the final table where the winner gets 4k...whatever, i run like shit, and i can never run good enough to EVER win a donkament, and ive accepted that. Earlier in the tourny, i was chipping up nicely, i made a standard raise with AK....guy shoves all in over the top...i call, he has AJ...Jack on the turn LOL...this pot would've put me in 2nd place and i wouldve been crusing...instead i had to play a mid-short stack the whole way...it just doesn't stop ya know!!

I will say this though...i did suck out on the bubble to stay alive...had like 4500 with blinds at like 300-600...36 ppl got paid and there were like 39 left...i pick up A10...fodled to me...i push...get a call...bb goes all in, other guy folds...bb has KK..i hit my ace to triple up. blah blah blah, thats tournament poker i know...but its these frusterations that have made me HATE playing them now a days!

Ok, grinding some cash tonight, nothing too exciting...
